Built by a Dad Who's Been There.
The Dugout Dad was started by Michael Mitchell — a baseball dad, volunteer coach, and the guy who knows what it feels like to be staring at a roster the night before a game trying to make it fair, competitive, and manageable.
This started from a real coaching problem: too many spreadsheets, too many moving pieces, and not enough time. He's coached his son's teams, balanced fairness with competitiveness, handled parent expectations, and spent too many nights building lineups manually.
The goal is simple — help volunteer coaches build better game plans faster, so they can spend less time stressing over lineups and more time helping kids love the game.
